My problem is when I launch the Xentry program the initial splash screen appears but then it just quits and leaves me with only the desktop. I have set up communication with the SDconnect C4 unit. All good, I was then supplied with the starkey (again thanks to this forum). I then installed Windows 7 (after finding drivers for the thing) and Xentry. I then got a newer version of Xentry from this forum (many thanks) and tried to install it, only to find out it wouldn't run on WinXP. I installed windows XP and tried a Dll'd version of Xentry but due to the install instructions not relating to the download and missing files I could not complete the install. I do not know where the discs that came with the unit are (we've had it quite a long time, I believe it was a copy anyway). I think someone installed a free antivirus software package that removed essential files for Windows/Xentry.Īnyway, I had to reinstall windows and DAS/Xentry.
